Hi, I’m Lynne

I was born and grew up in rural Northern Illinois.  Daughter to two teachers, I have always loved learning and working with children.  I met my husband in college, and after marriage and finishing my degree (Philosophy - with emphasis in logic and education), began homeschooling our children in 1996.  I raised,  taught, and graduated four children, each with their own abilities and challenges.  

I studied elementary education for several years including completion of student teaching, was certified through and taught at a federal childcare center for children 6wks to 5 yrs, taught sign language classes to ages 6 – 60 yr old students, offered multi-age geography classes for 3rd-12th grade students, have worked with learning-differenced students as well as students with developmental disabilities and physical disabilities in school and summer camp settings.  

I have written 18 courses to date and have taught them not only to my own children but also to groups of homeschooled students.  I also have incorporated parts of my courses in other varied situations, including speech and debate coaching for 15 years, leading junior and senior high youth groups, and teaching junior high classes at a private school.  I have converted my classes to an online format and will be offering upper elementary-, middle-, and high-school level courses for the 2024-25 academic year.  More courses will be added in upcoming years.
