Course Materials
American Literature
Each student will choose a book to study every month.
Students will need to access (either purchase or borrow from library) 6 – 8 primary source books [when freely available on the internet, this will be noted].
Students and parents will confer and choose one author/book from each month on a provided chart (first come, first serve).
Classic Literature
Each student will read 8 books (one per month) during this course.
Links are provided to buy the book online or to read online for free from Project Gutenberg, if available, but you are also encouraged to search your local library.
Project Gutenberg is an online library boasting over 60,000 literary titles whose U.S. copyrights have expired.
The books are provided for free to read online or to download in Kindle or epub versions.
World Literature
Each student will choose a book to study every month.

Culinary Chemistry Supplies
This class requires access to a kitchen and an adult supervisor at home if the student is unfamiliar with use of stove and oven, following directions, and general kitchen safety practices.
Families are responsible for providing needed materials. Most are common materials that are already in a normal household kitchen, but some items will need to be ordered.
Physics
This class requires adult supervisor at home and general safety practices.
