World History AD / CE – Middle School

“History is who we are, and why we are the way we are”

  • David McCullough

This class is designed primarily for middle school students. Younger students may be allowed with permission of instructor.

Each class will include instruction in a particular time period of world history from year 1 to 2020, research of individual study topics, and review/discussion of homework. Every student will choose a packet of work to complete during the month before the next class deadline.

Packets include timeline, map, and general questions as well as guided research questions specific to the student’s specific chosen region.  The students will be expected to complete their research and prepare a short video presentation of the resulting information. Students will comment on each other’s videos and together we will build an overall picture of life during each era we study.

This class will be conducted via Google Classroom from August to May. Semester options are available; inquire for more information.

2024-5 classes begin August 26.
