Consumables

  • Parchment paper

  • Plate or paper plate

  • Toothpicks, 1 box

Food items

  • Marshmallows, 1 bag regular size

  • Mini marshmallows (multi-colored), 1 bag **

Other

  • Recommended: Apron to use throughout the year

** or substitute gumdrops, chewy candy, or any other ingredient that has multiple colors and is soft enough to be pushed onto a toothpick (and preferably something your students like to munch)

Note:  If you have 1, 2, or 3 students completing the experiments together, most of the equipment & ingredients can be shared.  If you have more than 3 students, contact me and I’ll let you know which ingredients and/or equipment may need a higher amount.
