Glass jar/bottle with a mouth of a smaller diameter than the egg (but not too small!). Glass milk jugs work well.

Thermometer that can read temperatures down to 35° or 40° Fahrenheit

Note: Most supplies can be shared if you have more than one student working as lab partners for the experiments.
